How To Bring Out The Grouchy Bear Side Of Russell (One Way)

Yes, I'm talking about Russell T. Hartsaw, Founder and Chairman of Invisible Youth Network!

Did you think for a minute that I might be talking about Russell Crowe? LOL

Oh yes! A friend in the Industry tried to get me romantically-interested in Russell Crowe at one time--but I'm not sure that she was serious. I think that she was trying to tell me that I might as well get interested in Russell Crowe, as I would have a better chance of getting him romantically-interested in me than in holding the interest of a current flame who was burning out on me. (sigh)

Oh well, that's over ten years in my past. Russell Crowe is married, and I'm *so* over the other guy except for maintaining our friendship.

So how do I bring out the grouchy side of Russell (Hartsaw and not Crowe)? Let me count the ways?

yawn. . .I'm worn out! LOL

Seriously, one thing that kinda gets under Russell's skin with me is how I seem to be all over the place in Cyberspace--so much so that I might sign up to something and leave it hanging until I get reminded somehow that it's here and means something to me.

And so it goes with T.I.G.

I signed up here ages ago in relation to Invisible Youth Network.

However--although I've returned here on occasion long enough to check out how IYN was being represented--I hadn't done various things that I had been intending to do once I got A ROUND TUIT.

One of those things was filling out my profile more fully, and the other thing was getting back to this blog.

Russell can also tell you that my middle name is "Blog" -- either that or "Food."

With one of those middle names, I render myself too fat -- and, with the other, I spread myself too thin. It's up to you to figure out which is which. LOL

Anyway--to make a long story short and less painful to read--here's what brought me here today:

I came over to sign a petition that endorses making the second Saturday of every October officially recognized as Youth Outreach Day.

There are many petitions now being circulated for that purpose (both online and in real life).

My advice--and (no matter how much he gripes about my spreading myself too thin) Russell's, too--is there's no such animal as spreading yourself too thin when it comes to signing this very important petition!

That is. . .Please sign every version of it that comes your way!!!

Thanks for your help in drawing attention to this goal that will end up making a very positive difference in the lives of homeless and/or otherwise at-risk youth!

It's over-and-out for now, as I want to sign this (the petition at T.I.G.), check my e-mail, and stretch out for awhile to watch Coal Miner's Daughter, which is coming on in just a matter of minutes. I don't have to be there right at the first of it, but I certainly don't want to miss Mooney getting the surprise of his life when he dives into Loretta's chocolate pie! LOL

Below, find the details from Tj for participating in this:

Our petition can now also be found at Taking It Global

Let's Fire This Blog Up--And Russell Won't Be Surprised!!!

Update May 11, 2009: The initial blog-entry I wrote below is dated in some ways, but one thing that hasn't changed is that Russell's still an amazing person founding and chairing an organization that more people should be finding out more about. I will be making an update in the form of a new blog-entry very shortly...

Russell T. Hartsaw is one amazing guy, and I'm sure that I'll be mentioning him quite a bit in relation to this wonderful organization he's launched called Invisible Youth Network.

He has a presence here as well--in fact, it's through Russell that I found this place, and, so far, I'm very impressed.

I predict that you'll be hearing a lot from Russell as well--and he's going to be having his very own (Internet) radio show before long, but I'll fill you in more on that later!

Hopefully, you'll want to become part of our organization. Here's a link going to a handy list I've compiled telling about us...

http://cfetc.blogspot.com/2008/08/iyn-quick-list.html

But I know that Russell won't be surprised to find out that I've already posted my very first TIG-site blog-entry, because he's under the impression that my middle name is "Blog." Ainsley Jo Blog Phillips.

Actually, he thinks that my name is Ainsley Jo Blog-And-Chit-Chat Phillips.

He does have to admit that my blogging has been known to direct traffic to us--and, yes, he's actually admitted to me that this is true.

So, here we are at TIG and hoping that several other IYNers show up here as well.

As I also have some other things going on along with IYN, I'm also going to be using TIG to get some of my other thoughts "out there. For instance, I'm slowly-but-surely writing a book.

Hopefully, you'll find me to be more interesting than boring!

That's about it for now...
